Mr. Joseph DiMaggio Frankfort - Mr. Joseph DiMaggio, 78, of 107 W. Orchard St. passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in San Giuseppe Jato, Province of Palermo, Sicily on September 26, 1936, the son of the late Anthony and Marguerite DiMaggio and he attended schools there. Joe was employed by Standard Desk and later by Assembler for Union Tools, Frankfort for many years. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Joseph is survived by two sons and one son-in-law, Anthony DiMaggio and William Kupiec of Waterford, NY and Joseph Di Maggio of Frankfort; his life partner, Pat Green; one brother, Frank DiMaggio and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brother, Charles DiMaggio and two sisters, Pearl and Nannette. His funeral Thursday at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St. Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. There will be no public calling hours.
