John Dennis Zenzayer
Mohawk - John Dennis Zenzayer, 76, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Bassett Health Care, Cooperstown.

He was born in Ludlow, MA, on July 13, 1949 the son of the late Michael and Barbara Williamson Zenzayer. He attended schools in Merritt Island, FL. Following his schooling, John joined the US Army and served during the Vietnam War and was Honorably Discharged on November 20, 1979 with the rank of Sergeant. He was at one time employed by NYS Corrections at Fishkill Corrections and later for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department. He was a member of the VFW.

John is survived by his sons and daughters in law, John and Courtney Zenzayer and Jeriame and Tina Ho Zenzayer; his granddaughters, Gabriel Zenzayer and Johanna Zenzayer; one sister, Linda Hefner; his special friend, Marjorie Bielanski and her children, Corina Bielanski Benedetti and Kevin Bielanski and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral will be held on July 17, 206 at 1:30 PM at the Gerald B.H. Soloman Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871 For those attending the service for John, please be at the cemetery gate by 1:15 PM.

His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Iocovozzi Funeral & Cremation Services, 219 N. Prospect St., Herkimer, New York.
