Rome - JoAnn Thompson, 64, of Rome passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 22, 1958, the daughter of the late Robert L and Florentina Gallegos Moyer. Being a "military brat" JoAnn attended serval schools throughout our country. She was married to Mark Thompson on September 10, 2011 in Rome, NY. JoAnn was a Driver for Birnie Bus Service, Rome for many years.

JoAnn is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Thompson; Two daughters, Jennifer Palmer and Melody Kiley and her cherished grandson, Logan Palmer of Rome.

Her funeral will be held at convenience of the family. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort. .
