Frankfort - Mrs. Jennie Bellino, 86, of 212 S. Frankfort St. passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Frankfort on June 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Matranga Camarata and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Frank "Marley" Bellino on June 24, 1950 in St. Mary's Church. Marley passed away on February 2, 1996. Jennie was employed by MDS, Herkimer, until her retirement in 1983. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Jennie had a great love for sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking and spending time with her family. She volunteered at the local food bank and her parish, making cookies and crocheting blankets for sick babies. After Jennie retired, she devoted her time to her grandchildren.
Jennie is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Dominick "Marley" and Gina Bellino of Frankfort and Joseph and Francesca Bellino of Utica; two daughters and sons in law, Donna and Andrew Barberio of Frankfort and Gracelynn and Thomas Zielenski of Poland; eight grandchildren, Dominica Bellino and her fiancé Ryan Helmer, Andrew Barberio and his fiancé Sarah Palmitesso, Joseph Bellino and his girlfriend Marlene Cirasuolo, Angelica Bellino, Francesca Bellino, Thomas Zielenski, Alica Zielenski and Austin Zielenski; one great grandson, Nicholas, who she affectionately referred to as "Little Boy Blue;" one sister in law, Rose Bellino of Frankfort; her dear friends, Beatrice LoRe and Rose Palmieri and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Nicholas Camarata on September 24, 1984 and Frank Camarata on April 19, 1992.
Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort, and at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday (today) from 4-7 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
