James A. Stalnaker

Mr. James A. Stalnaker Waterville - Mr. James A. Stalnaker, 70, of 538 Clark Rd passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 in Katherine Lutheran Home, Clinton. He was born in Little Falls on January 4, 1947, the son of the late Virgil and Virginia Riggleman Stalnaker. He attended Little Falls schools and graduated from Little Falls High School with the class of 1965. He later attended and graduated from R.I.T. He was married to Patricia Dychko on June 15, 1985 in St. Joseph's Church, Herkimer. Jim was employed by as the Brewing Manager for Genesee Brewing Co. and later for High Falls Brewing Co. until his retirement in 2008. James is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Stalnaker; one sister, Barbara Stalnaker Lundeen of Little Falls; his brother in law, Michael Dychko and his companion, Patricia Sullivan of Herkimer; his uncles, Charles Lewis and Newton Riggleman both of Beverly, WV; his nieces, Lonna and her husband, John Giacovelli and their children, John Giacovelli III who was Jim's godson, Arianna and Lucianna all of Sanford, Fl. And Michele Dychko of Mohawk and several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother in law, John Lundeen. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory may be made to, National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 or to a Humane Society of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Jim's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Lutheran Home, Valley Crest Unit for the wonderful care and compassion shown to him during his stay and passing.
