James Jamie La Fountain

Mr. James S. "Jamie" La Fountain Schuyler - Mr. James S. "Jamie" La Fountain, 47, of 3588 St Rt 5 passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 after a long illness in his home with his family by his side. He was born in Ilion on August 24, 1968, the son of Sherwood and Elizabeth Armstrong La Fountain and he attended Ilion and Richfield Springs schools. He was married to Sheila Bunce on August 27, 1988 in Frankfort. James and his wife were the Co- Owners and Operators of A Team Contracting, Schuyler. He was a longtime member of the APA. James is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila La Fountain; two sons and one daughter in law, James La Fountain and his companion, Jenna of Mohawk and Joshua and his wife, Amy La Fountain of GA; grandson, Jaxon La Fountain of GA; his father and step mother, Sherwood and his wife, Mary La Fountain of Cedarville; his mother, Elizabeth Moynihan and her companion, Charles Blakeman of Schuyler; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and his wife, Cathy La Fountain of Cedarville, two sisters and brother-in-law, Lisa La Fountain of Utica and Trudie and her husband, Jack Picknell of FL; his in laws, Sherry and Blase Di Sano of Frankfort, Evelyn and Jack Mower of Schuyler, Mary Lou and Robert Louis of Schuyler and Paula and Alan Ricci of FL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Jamie's life on Saturday April 30, 2016 from 2-6 at the Ilion Moose Lodge #1010, Barringer Rd., Ilion. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Frankfort. Jamie's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all his friends for always being there for him with their love and support.
