Frankfort - Ms. Grace C. Grippe, 89, formerly of N. Frankfort St. passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 in the Heritage Home.
She was born in Frankfort on December 17, 1920, the daughter of the late Philip and Frances Cummo Grippe and she attended Frankfort schools. Grace was a Seamstress for Little Froc's, Little Falls for many years until her retirement in 1982. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Grace is survived by two brothers and one sister in law, Joseph Grippe and Anthony and Arlene Grippe, all of Frankfort; one sister, Evelyn Harte of Frankfort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother in law, Florence and John Cushman and Marie Grippe; three brothers and sisters in law, Sam and Lena Grippe, Frank and Mary Grippe and Louis and Jane Grippe; two sisters in law, Dorothy Grippe and Mary Alice Grippe and one brother in law, Patrick Harte.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 PM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort and at 2:00 PM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Leo Potvin and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
