Frank J. Jeffalone

Mr. Frank J. Jeffalone Sr. Frankfort - Mr. Frank J. Jeffalone Sr, 92, of Brockway Rd passed away Friday, May 4, 2007 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. He was born in Frankfort on October 25, 1914, the son of the late Thomas and Rose Jeffalone and he attended Frankfort schools. He was married to Ann L.Collard in Fly Creek. Mrs. Jeffalone passed away on October 5, 1983. Frank was the owner operator of Jeff's Express, Broad St, Utica for 25 years and was later employed by Old Colony Trucking Co for 10 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of St. Francis Di Paolo Society, Frankfort, the Teamsters Local #182, Utica, F.O. Eagles #97, Utica and the Flub Dub Club, Utica. Frank is survived by one daughter & son in law, Lorraine & David Hutton of Utica; two sons & daughters in law, Frank & Charlotte Jeffalone Jr of FL and David & Mary Lou Jeffalone of Frankfort; his step daughter & son in law, Mary & Wilbur Gilbert of TN; two daughters in law, Vicky Dye of Millers Mills and Donna Dye of Utica; two very special cousins, Nancy Aversa and Carl Coniglio and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two step sons, Douglas Dye and Edward Dye, two sisters, Mayme Loiacono and Rose Jeffalone and two brothers, Angelo Jeffalone and Peter Jeffalone. His funeral will be held Monday evening at 7:00 pm at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 3-7 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the St. Francis Society will meet Monday evening at 6:30 at the funeral home for services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank's memory may be made to American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
