Frances Quarneri

Herkimer - Mrs. Frances Quarneri, 91, formerly of Midtown Apts. and William St passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 in Presbyterian Home Of CNY. She was born in Sideno Marina, Province of Calabria, Italy on February 5, 1916, the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Arena Trimboli. The family came to this country in 1921 and she attended Herkimer schools. Frances was married to Salvatore "Sam" Quarneri on November 25, 1937 in St. Anthony's Church, Herkimer. Mr. Quarneri passed away on September 2, 1984. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Frances is survived by two daughters & sons in law, Joanne & William Beevers and Linda & Robert Culyer Jr all of New Hartford; her grandchildren, William & his wife, Wendy Beevers, Michael Beevers & his fiancée, Karen Showalter,Lauren Culyer, Rachel Culyer, Robert Culyer; three great grandchildren, Christine Beevers, Daniel Beevers and Nicholas Beevers; her in laws, Josephine Trimboli of Herkimer and Pat & Rose Guarniere of Frankfort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers, Nicholas Trimboli, Fred Trimboli, Salvatore Trimboli, Julio Trimboli and Frank Trimboli and four sisters, Laura Baggetta, Victoria Angelotti, Theresa Trimboli and Antoinette Trimboli. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:00 from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 9:30 in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home.
