1931-2023-Frances A. Bongiorno, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare.

She was born on January 15, 1931 in Frankfort the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Sylvester) Bongiorno. Frances was a graduate of Frankfort schools. She was employed as an Inspector for UNIVAC and Lally Manufacturing in Utica and New York Mills until her retirement. Frances was a life-long communicant of St. Mary, Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort.

She is survived by her loving sister, Theresa Bongiorno; sister-in-law, Mary Bongiorno as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to name. Frances was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony, George, Dominick (Betty) and Philip Bongiorno; her sisters, Rose Bongiorno, Agnes (Enos) Salvaggio and Marie Clements; niece, Mary Bongiorno and nephew, Nicholas Bongiorno.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort. Funeral services will commence Monday, January 23, at 10:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Frankfor, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.  Spring interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Frances’ name may be made to St. Judes Children’s research Hospital or The Shriners Hospital envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
