Florence Denslow

Boonville - Ms. Florence Denslow, 88, of Post St. passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Schuyler on April 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Walter and Cora Sullivan Denslow and she attended local schools. She was a member of West Schuyler United Methodist Church. She loved to crochet and knit, especially scarves, doilies, pillowcases and shams. She also enjoyed being with her family every chance she could. Florence is survived by her very special niece, Rita and her husband, Frank Sarasy of Frankfort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four sisters, Frances Kellogg, Cora Russet, Alice Harris and Margaret Hepworth and one brother, Leonard Denslow. Her funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 12:00 PM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Robert Burge, officiating. Interment will be in West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, April 17 from 10 AM - 12 PM at V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
