Fannie D. Farley
West Winfield - Fannie D. Farley, 80, of West Winfield, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Bassett Health Care with her family by her side.
She was born in Newport, New York, on September 5, 1943, the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Geevis Ferguson, and she attended schools in West Winfield. She was married to Edward Farley on June 6, 1959, in the West Winfield United Methodist Church. Edward passed away on November 30, 2003. Fannie was employed by Trenton Technologies, Utica, NY, for many years until her retirement in 2003.
If you asked Fannie what her greatest accomplishment was, she would say her family. Fannie is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dean and his wife, Jennifer Farley, of West Winfield, Ricky and his wife, Amy Farley, of Jordanville, and Edward Farley of West Winfield; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Fanny and her husband, Charles Stickles, of Mohawk, Mary and her husband, Bruce Jacobs, of Frankfort, Christine and her husband, James Gott, of Burlington Flats, Susan and her husband, Richard Poirier, of Herkimer, Lorrie and her husband, Randy Seamon, of Richfield, Ginger and her husband, Roger Hume, of West Winfield, and Robin and her husband, Jay Gorton, of Waterville; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Lille Ferguson of West Winfield, and Fay & Cindy Ferguson of West Winfield; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Winegard of West Winfield, and Esther & James Garretson of Cherry Valley; brother-in-law, Joseph Farley of Fl.; her beloved canine, Fraulein; beloved feline, Cuddles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Amy Farley; her siblings, Roger Bender, Donald Ferguson, Paul Ferguson, Charles Ferguson, Sally Reed, and Jack Ferguson.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave, Frankfort, with Pastor Rich Unger officiating. Interment will be in Cedarville Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday, April 27 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
