Eric L Heeder

Little Falls - Eric L Heeder, 62, passed away on August 20, 2026, in his home in Little Falls, NY.

He was born in Albany, NY, on May 21, 1964 He attended Columbia schools and graduated from Columbia High School with the class of 1982. Following his schooling, Eric joined the US Marines and served until his Honorable Discharge with the rank of Lance Corporal. During his time in the Marines he completed Field Surveyor Course. He was at married to Rita Richards on June 6, 1986 in Church of Christ, Troy. He employed by Richards Tire and Auto, later by Creek View Auto and presently by Bick & Heintz, Utica. He was an avid race car fan especially Dale Earnhardt.

Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Heeder; his son, Charles Heeder; cherished canines, Flex, Sissy, Nugs and Rebel and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Heeder.

His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with a celebration of life at a later date. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Iocovozzi Funeral & Cremation Services, Herkimer, New York.
