Elaine Marie Juteau

Frankfort - Elaine Marie Juteau, 78, of Frankfort passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 peacefully in her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Ilion, New York on August 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Orlando and Jennie Minosh Yots. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated Frankfort Schuyler High School with the class of 1965. Elaine later attended and graduated from Becker Junior College and received her Associates Degree in 1967 and later received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Utica Magna Cum Laude in 1982. Elaine was at one time employed as the Executive Secretary for General Electric and later for Paul Hatzinger Appraisal's, Utica for many years. Elaine was a woman of great faith and was ordained a minister from Universal Life Church in 2013. In her free time she loved to paint pictures and reupholster furniture.

Elaine is survived by one daughter, Rayann Juteau of Frankfort; two sons and one daughter in law, David Juteau and Jason and JoAnn Juteau all of Frankfort NY; her grandchildren, Justyn Lawrence, J. Adam Lawrence, Matthew Prentice, Emilee Juteau, Jaiden Lawrence, SGT. Zachery and his wife, Briana Juteau serving with the USMC, Tyler Juteau and Michael Grau; Twelve greatgrandchildren and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Vannessa Juteau on September 6, 2022

Her funeral will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort where a funeral service will be celebrated by her friend, Jay Scienza. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, September 29 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of family owned and operated the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.

Elaine’s family would like to thank One Caring Place Plus Inc. and the wonderful caregivers who took such great care of our mother throughout the years.
