Edith Enjem

Herkimer - Mrs. Edith Enjem, 86, of 705 Walnut St passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Edith was born in Stockton, CA on March 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Gregory and Mary Lorraine Caliguire. She attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School. She was married to Joseph Enjem on June 10, 1972. Mr. Enjem passed away on December 30, 2006. Mrs. Enjem was at one time employed in the office of General Electric and later for Enjem's Carpets, Herkimer. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Edith is survived by Mr Enjem's sons, wives, children & grandchildren, Anthony & Eileen Enjem of New Hartford, Francis & Bonita Enjem of Pa., Joseph & Mary Enjem of Herkimer and Bernadette Enjem of Frankfort; her in laws, David & Rose Enjem of New Hartford and Rose Caliguire of Port St. Lucie, Fl.; a very special nephew, Vincent Caliguire of Port St. Lucie, Fl. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Vincent Caliguire on May 19, 1995 and one sister, Katherine Servello on November 29, 2004. Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St. Herkimer where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In accordance with Edith's wishes there will be no public calling hours but all are invited to attend her funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edith's memory maybe made to Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church. Envelopes will be available at the church vestibule on Tuesday. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S.
