Mrs. Dominica Mayme Di Maria Frankfort - Mrs Dominica Mayme Di Maria, 82, formerly of First Ave passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Presbyterian Home Of CNY. She was born in Frankfort on May 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie Barrett Sharrino. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1939. During WWII, Mayme was employed by Remington Rand as an Inspector of gun parts. Mayme was married to Stephen Di Maria on September 28, 1946 in St. Mary´s Church. Mr. Di Maria passed away on January 4, 2000. Mr. and Mrs. Di Maria were the owners and operators of Di Maria's Apple Orchard and Apple Stand, Acme Rd., Frankfort for many years. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member of the Amen Choir and the Bicentennial Choir. She was an avid bowler. Mayme is survived by one daughter & son in law, Josie & David Enjem, of Fl; one son & daughter in law, Frank & Dale Di Maria of Ilion; two sisters & one brother in law, Mary Frederick Pearson of Frankfort and Catherine & Don Baker of Herkimer; her grandchildren, Frank & his wife, Amy Di Maria, Carrie Anne Di Maria, Eric Enjem and Stefan Enjem; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Di Maria & Hope Di Maria; her brothers in law, Pat Gelose and Angelo Annatone and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one great granddaughter, Lorrabelle Di Maria on April 26, 2001; two sisters, Rose Gelose and Susan Sharrino and two brothers, Frank Sharrino and Joseph Sharrino Jr. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 11:30 in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St. Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. Mayme's family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the attentive and loving nurses, aides and staff of the Presbyterian Residential Community and the Presbyterian Nursing home, for the wonderful care shown to her.
