Frankfort - Schuyler - Mrs. Deanna Bono, 62, of 3233 St. Rt. 5 passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Ilion on May 25, 1950, the daughter of the late Adam and Megan Hallam Quackenbush. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the class of 1969. She later attended Herkimer County Boces and received her Nurses Aide certification. She was married to Santo Bono on November 20, 1971 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Deanna was a Nurses Aide and later in the Medical Records Department for Katherine Luther Home in Clinton until her retirement in 2003. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and she loved to travel. Deanna is survived by her loving husband, Santo Bono; one daughter, Jennifer Bono Scalise; three sons, Christopher Bono of Schuyler, Michael Bono and his wife, Shannon of Frankfort, Kevin Spink and his wife, Anita Toni Spink of Brunswick, GA; one sister, Brenda Anderson of Frankfort; three brothers, Roger Quackenbush of Rome, Byron Quackenbush of Little Falls and Stephen Quackenbush of Mohawk; seven grandchildren, Jonathon, Joshua, Tori Natashia, James, Michael, Sarah and Shalei; her aunts and uncles, Jennie Bono of Long Island, Florence and Sandy Bono of Frankfort and Rose Cacciatore of Frankfort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Adam Quackenbush and one sister, Rose Quackenbush. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with Deacon James Bower, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 4-8 PM at the V. J.
