David Brian Sebastian, Sr.

He was born in Utica on November 21, 1948, the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy Loisell Sebastian and he attended Utica Schools. He served in the US Army and was Honorably Discharged on March 14, 1968. David was employed in the Maintenance Department for United Cerebral Palsy in Utica for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

David is survived by his son and daughter in law, David Sebastian, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Clayville; two daughters, Heather Sebastian and her fiancé, Scott Ferdula of Frankfort and Jennifer Mitchell of Utica; six grandchildren, Schylar, Hallie, Amelia, Julian, Jaden, and Jared; three brothers and one sister in law, Doug Sebastian of Rome, Don Sebastian of Newport and Chris and Ronnie Sebastian of Utica; two sisters, Toni Butera and Gloria Gonyea, both of Cold Brook; his lifelong friend, Carmen Lindfield and family; his close friends, Peter Erhardt and Stash Tarkawski and many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. He was predeceased by one brother, Herb Sebastian.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Funeral arrangemenets are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
