Cindy J. Malone

Rome - Miss Cindy J Malone, 43, passed away into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 after a lifelong illness. Cindy was born in Ilion on October 4, 1964, the daughter of Michael Donald and Charlotte Cushman Malone. Cindy is survived by her mother & step father, Charlotte & Robert Capoccia of New Hartford; one sister & brother in law Cathy & Alan Reid & their sons, Dennis & Kyle Seyer all of Marcy; her half sister, Cheryl Schmidt of Rochester; her step sister, Paula Capoccia Foote & her children, Timothy & Kara of Rome; her aunts & uncles, Rose Marie & George Surace of Camillus who are also her godparents and Mayme & Paul Palumbo of Frankfort and several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her extended family at the Walsh Unit for the Medically Frail, Rome. She was predeceased by her father, Michael Donald Malone, maternal grandparents, Charles & Rosalie Cushman, paternal grandfather & grandmother, Michael Francis Malone Esq and Gertrude Teelak Malone. Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St. Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, pastor emeritus. Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. There will be no public calling hours. Contributions in Cindy's memory may be made to Children's Miracle Network, c/o Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Foundation, 1676 Sunset Ave., Utica, NY 13501. Envelopes will be available at the church vestibule. Cindy's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of Walsh DDSO for the care, love and compassion given to her for the past forty-one years.
