Frankfort – Mrs. Catherine E. Latella, 97, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, in Wynn Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born in Frankfort, New York, on August 24, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Rose Farina Feduccia. She attended Frankfort Schools and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High School. She was married to Paul A. Latella on September 23, 1950, in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Paul passed away on August 21, 2013. Catherine was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

Catherine is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and her husband, Daniel McCoy, of New Hartford, NY; one son and daughter in law, Paul and his wife, Catherine Latella, of Glen Mills , PA; two brothers, Anthony and his wife, Irene Feduccia, of Naples, FL, and George Feduccia of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren, Jack Latella and Sophie Latella, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Brian McCoy, on November 27, 1999, and one sister, Rose Gage.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Catherine's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105, as well as National MPS Society C/O Donations, PO Box 14686, Durham, NC, 27709. Envelopes will be available at the church vestibule on the day of the funeral.
