Mrs. Carolyn G. Drapalski Stittville - Mrs. Carolyn G. Drapalski, 94, formerly of 9060 Main St. passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Lutheran Home. She was born in Frankfort on April 20, 1922, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Capitano Aiello and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Henry Drapalski on June 23, 1951 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Henry passed away on February 18, 1982. Carolyn was a Clerk for A & P Grocery Store and later for Herkimer Chief until her retirement in 1975. She was a former communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort and of Sts. Anthony and Joseph's Church, Herkimer. She was a member of St. Leo's and St. Ann's Altar Rosary Society, Stittville Fireman Auxiliary where she served as Chaplin, VFW Auxiliary, Stittville #8259 where she served as conductor, Marcy Seniors, Floyd Seniors and a former member of the United Polka League. Carolyn is survived by one son and daughter in law, Henry J. Jr. and Anne Drapalski of East Longmeadow, MA; two grandchildren, Henry Joseph Drapalski III and his wife, Anet and Nora Drapalski; her sister in law, Anne Drapalski of Little Falls and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, John Sarullo, Anthony Aiello, Capt. Joseph Aiello and Angelo Aiello and two sisters, Mary Polizzi and Mary Aiello. Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:45 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 4-7 at the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
