Little Falls - Carol E. Leon, 62, passed away on August 13, 2026, in her home.

She was born on January 4, 1964 in Little Falls, NY, to the late Richard and Joan Moshier Leon. She attended Little Falls schools and graduated from Little Falls High School with the class of 1983. Carol was employed as a bus driver for Little Falls School District and various school districts later for West Canada Valley until her retirement in June of 2026. Carol loved Elvis and I love Lucy and she enjoyed camping, concerts, going to the casino, animals and especially the kids on her bus. She loved her once a month dinner with the girls and her weekly Friday night dinners with her besties.

Carol is survived by her sister and brother in law, Bonnie and William Klock Jr; nieces and nephew, Christina Allen-Koons, Jason Allen and Sonja and her husband, Nate Purinton; great nieces, Jaicie Purinton and Oaklie Purinton aunts and uncle, Carol "Punky" Carter, Shirley Ashley and Thomas Leon; her best friend, Jean (Mosher) Busch and her husband, Bob; several beloved cousins and many many friends to many to mention. Carol is preceded in death by her sister, Kim Cheney in 2021.

Her funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Iocovozzi Funeral and Cremation Service, 219 N. Prospect St., Herkimer, NY
