Arlene S. Humphreys

Mrs. Arlene S. Humphreys Little Falls - Mrs. Arlene S. Humphreys, 96, of 111 Brice Rd, Frankfort a life long resident of Little Falls passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Little Falls on January 24, 1910, the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel Stewart. She attended Little Falls schools and graduated from Little Falls High School with the class of 1928. Arlene later attended and graduated from Utica School of Commerce with the class of 1929. She was married to John Marvin Humphreys on June 30, 1938 in St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Humphreys passed away in December of 1979. Mrs. Humphreys was employed as the Secretary for Little Falls High School's Principal for many years until her retirement in 1967. She was a member of St. Paul's Universalist Church and the Rock City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and had served as a Past Matron. Arlene is survived by one brother & sister in law, Robert & Barbara Stewart; her niece, Jill & her husband, Frank Palumbo; one great nephew, Matthew Palumbo all of Frankfort and several cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Molly Stewart. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11:30 am in St. Paul's Universalist Church, 565 Albany St. Little Falls with the Rev. Kimberly Miner, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Church St Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Contributions in Arlene's memory may be made to St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls, NY, 13365. Envelopes will be available in the vestibule of the church on Tuesday. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
