Mrs. Antoinette R. "Nettie" Aiello Frankfort - Mrs. Antoinette R. "Nettie" Aiello, 87, of 228 W. Main St passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital. She was born in Utica on June 4, 1918, the daughter of the late Rosario and Catherine Folino Fragale and she attended Utica schools. She was married to Angelo Aiello on July 9, 1949 in St. Mary Of Mt Carmel Church, Utica. Mrs. Aiello was a Seamstress for Lynch & Kelley, Utica for many years. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church. Nettie was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She was a talented cook and seamstress whose focal point of her life was her family. Antoinette is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Angelo Aiello; three sons & two daughters in law, Salvatore Aiello of Warwick, RI, Angelo & Valerie Aiello of Herkimer and Joseph & Karen Aiello of San Juan Capistrano, CA; one daughter & son in law, Kathy & Reid Marrotta of Frankfort; one sister, Angela Pacillio of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Kelly Aiello, Adrienne Aiello, Alexis Marrotta and Matthew Marrotta; her in laws, Catherine "Kitty" Fragale, Mary Aiello, Joseph Aiello and Caroline Drapalski; her close friend, Helen & Enos Tripple, Carmella & Nick Femia and Donna & Henry Testa and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Sam Fragale, Joseph Fragale, Anthony Fragale and Richard Fragale and three sisters, Mary Fragale, Jennie Fragale and Anne Fragale. Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:30 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Nettie´s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Butala, Dr. Perez-Cheron and the nurses and staff of St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing.
