Anthony J. Dinitto

Frankfort - Mr. Anthony J. Di Nitto, 89, of 208 Fifth Ave passed away peacefully Monday, December 31, 2012 in his home. He was born in Marcy on November 19, 1923, the son of the late Joseph and Rose Di Nitto and he attended schools there. He was married to Virginia "Ginger" La Fontaine on November 27, 1980 in Utica, NY. Tony was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Crash's Auto Parts, Frankfort for many years until his retirement in 2008. He was an avid woodworker. Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia "Ginger" Di Nitto; two daughters and one son in law, Yvonne Danford of SC and Diane and Frank Lawyer of Whitesboro; two sons and one daughter in law, Bruce and Gay Anne Di Nitto of New Hartford and Brian Di Nitto of Rochester; his step son and daughter in law, Joseph and Mildred Sullivan of Chesapeake, VA; one brother, Joseph Di Nitto of Havens, KS; one sister in law, Naomi and her husband, George Myers of Castlebury, FL; eight grandchildren, Holly, Nick, Ashley, Laura, Jessica, Sara, Frank and Zane; six great grand children; his special son, Roberto Mora of CA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Nicole Weaver on November 19, 1983 His funeral will be held Friday morning at 10:30 am in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with Deacon James Bower, officiating. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 3 from 4-7 at V.
