Anne Swiger

Mrs. Anne Swiger Frankfort - Mrs. Anne Swiger, 92, formerly of Reese Rd passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on August 2, 1913, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Kipper De Pellio (De Luke) and she attended Frankfort schools. Anne was employed by Univac, Utica Plant for many years until her retirement in 1975. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church. Anne resided with her daughter & son in law, Lenora & Anthony and their family for 37 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and great grandmother to Alex, Taylor and Cameron with whom she loved to play ball, cards and laugh. Anne is survived by one son & daughter in law, Roy & Cinda Swiger of Livermore, CA; one daughter & son in law, Lenora & Anthony Lisandrelli, Frankfort; one brother & sister in law, Raymond & Ida De Luke of VA; her sister in law, Mary De Luke of Frankfort; her nine grandchildren, Anthony & his wife, Jennifer Lisandrelli, James & his wife, Michelle Lisandrelli, Jo Anne & her husband, Rocco Zammiello, Mary Frances & her husband, Bryce Swartzwelder, Jeff & his wife, Lynn Swiger, Frank Swiger, Roy Raymond & his wife, Wendy Swiger, Cammillo & his wife, Amanda Swiger and Alex & his wife, Nicole Swiger; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lena Ruffalo and Mary De Pellio and six brothers, Joseph De Luke, Robert De Luke, Anthony De Luke, Frank De Pellio, Gene De Pellio and Earl De Luke Sr. Her funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 pm from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 1:30 pm in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 11:00 - 1:00 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
