Anita J. Spaman

Frankfort - Ms. Anita J. Spaman, 76, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Connecticut on April 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Merriem Lonis and she attended Frankfort schools. Anita is survived by two sons and daughters in law, James and Rosemary Spaman of Ilion and Philip K. and Michelle Spaman of Frankfort; two daughters and sons in law, Cathy and Carl Suits of Schuyler, Mildred Spaman of Frankfort and Ed Lamont of Floyd; one sister, Carolyn Andrews of Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Randy and Melinda Suits, Tina Suits, Matthew Spaman, Allison Spaman, Kayla Spaman, Erica Spaman and Eric Lamont, Shannon Travis, Paula Crisell and Brandy Field and 6 great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of her family. In accordance with Anita's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. Anita's family would like to thank Dr. Edmonds, Dr. McKay, Dr. Chikoti, Alecia Volo, NP and the staff at Bassett Hospital for the wonderful care she received during her long illness.
