Mrs. Angelina Puleo Frankfort - Mrs. Angelina Puleo, 96, of 549 S. Litchfield St passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Tampa, FL on May 3, 1910 the daughter of the late Peter and Maria Parrino Puleo and she attended schools there. She was married to Paul J. Puleo Sr. on April 29, 1931 in Tampa, FL. Mr. Puleo passed away on November 17, 1974. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Angelina is survived by two daughters and one son in law, Rose Marie & Anthony Abone and JoAnn Smith all of Rome; one son, Paul Puleo Jr. and his companion, Michele of Frankfort; her daughter in law, Rosalia Puleo of Frankfort; one sister, Jennie Puleo of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Joseph & his wife, Sue Abone of TN, Anthony & his wife, Terry Abone of Rome, Mark & his wife, Ann Marie Puleo of RI, Michael & his wife, Cindy Puleo of CO, Mary Jane & her husband, John Carney of CO, Paul & his wife, Chrissy Puleo of Syracuse, Gina & her husband, Michael Testa of Frankfort, Paul & his wife, Judi Smith of Utica, Angela & her husband, George Service of Frankfort, Kathy Hainer of VA, Guy Puleo of Utica and Paul, Jodi Puleo of Frankfort; her sisters in law, Alice Puleo, Laura Puleo and Mamie Guggi; twenty three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one son, Joseph F. Puleo on June 23, 2006, six brothers, Angelo Puleo, John Puleo, Peter Puleo, Joseph Puleo, Paul Puleo and Carmello Puleo and one sister, Pauline Garcia. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 11:30 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 12:00 pm in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Angelina's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Nurses and Staff of St. Luke's Memorial Hospital's IMCCU for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Frankfort Fire Dept. Memorial Park Fund.
