Angelina Marconi

Herkimer - Mrs. Angelina Marconi, 85, of 113 W. Steele St passed on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Valley Health Services with her loving family by her side. She was born in Herkimer on January 22, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Mary Natale Palmieri and attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Albert Marconi on October 18, 1947 in St. Anthony's Church. Mr. Marconi passed away on February 26, 1967. Mrs. Marconi was and one time employed by Eastern Footwear, Dolgeville, later at Fibers, Little Falls and lastly as a line supervisor for G E, Utica for many years until her retirement in 1968. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed sharing life's lessons with her family. Angie is survived by one daughter & son in law, Donna & Lee Davidson of Allentown, PA; one son & daughter in law, David & Jean Marconi of Kirkville; her four grandchildren, Steve, Brian, Lisa and Jim; five brothers and sisters in law, John & Toni Palmieri, William & Janet Palmieri and Joseph & Rosemarie Palmieri all of Herkimer, Sam & Jennie Palmieri of Gloversville and Benjamin & Rose Palmieri of Frankfort; her sister in law, Josephine Jopa Palmieri of Frankfort and very special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Palmieri and Leon Palmieri Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St, Herkimer where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Contributions in Angie's memory maybe made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer.
