Richfield Springs - Mr. Andrew Klisch, 70, of 224 State Rt 167 Town of Warren passed away peacefully Friday, June 18, 2010 in his home.
He was born in Brunary, Poland on August 12, 1939, the son of the late Antoni and Jaroslawa Garbera Kliszcz and he attended schools there. He was married to Waltaurd "Mary" Filipiak in St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on February 25, 1970. Mr. & Mrs. Kliszcz were owner and operator of the Old Mill Stone, Town Of Warren for many years. He was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church.
Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Klisch; one son & daughter in law, John and Dongmei Klisch of Sunny Vale, CA; his grandson, Shichaohao "Harry"; his sister in law, Alina Matuszak and her sons, Sebastian and Pszemko all of Poland; one uncle and aunt, Alex and Audrey Kustra of TX; one cousin, Mabel Deal of Geneva . He was predeceased by three brothers, John Kliszcz in 1968, Teodor Kliszcz on August 2, 1999 and Mikolaj Nick Kliszcz on July 7, 2004.
His funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 10:30 AM in S.S. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church with the Rev. Fr. James Worthington, officiating. Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9-10:00 am at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home.
