Mrs. Alice Nalaskowski
Herkimer - Alice Nalaskowski, 77, of 319 Pleasant Ave passed away, peacefully, Tuesday, November 29, 2005 in Valley Health Services.
She was born on September 19, 1928, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late Alex and Antoinette Bojka Makohen. Alice was married to Joseph C. Nalaskowski on January 18, 1952 in Herkimer.
She was employed with M.D.S., Inc., Herkimer. Alice was a member of Herkimer V.F.W Post #4915 Ladies Auxillary.
Alice is survived by her beloved husband of forty-three years, Joseph C.; her son & daughter-in-law, Joseph P. & Robin Nalaskowski of Herkimer; her daughter & son-in-law, MaryAnn & James Hill of Baytown, TX; her grandson, Zachary Hill; her granddaughters, Selena Lynne Nalaskowski & Torri May Nalaskowski; her sister: Mary Morse of Mohawk, her brother-in-law, Bill Nalaskowski of Richfield Springs; her sisters-in-law, Helen Miller of Little Falls and Jennie Foster of Dolgeville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John Makohen and Mike Makohen and her sisters-in-law, Mary Pavalock, Stella Petkovsek, Lottie Mettot and Bessie Golowicz.
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Monday in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St, Herkimer. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Calling Hours will be 2-5PM, Sunday at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Funeral Home. Contributions in Alice's memory may be offered to the American Diabetes Association or to the Dialysis Unit at Faxton-St. Luke's Health Care Center New Hartford Campus.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Valley Health Services and Dr. Petrie for all of the loving and compassionate care given to Alice.
