Alec S. Piaschyk

Utica - Alec S. Piaschyk, 35, of Utica, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at home.

He was born in New Hartford in August of 1987, the son of Glenn and Marianne Guerino Piaschyk.  He graduated with the class of 2006 from Ilion High School. Later in 2010, he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Poughkeepsie, NY. Alec was a Chef for several local restaurants in Oneida, New Hartford, and Utica.

Alec's surviving relatives include his father and mother, Glenn and Marianne Piaschyk; one brother and sister-in-law, Brian and his wife, Jess Piaschyk and godson, Westin; aunts and uncles, Robert and Joanne Wheeler, Ralph and Tammy Guerino, Eric and Olga Piaschyk and Drew and Faith Piaschyk and several cousins.

His celebration of life will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the V. J.  Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.  Calling hours will be Saturday, December 3, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort. Right afterwards please join the family for a meal of condolence, location will be announced at the celebration.
